Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory) during off-peak hours.
- Monitor system performance, health, and security to ensure 99.9% uptime for all critical applications.
- Execute scheduled maintenance tasks, patch management, and backups during the night shift.
- Provide Tier 3 technical support and troubleshooting for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to document changes and handover critical incidents.
- Enforce security protocols and conduct vulnerability assessments.
- Automate routine administrative tasks using scripting languages (PowerShell, Python).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Support, or Network Engineering.
- Proven experience working in a Night Shift environment.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Linux administration.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell) and basic knowledge of SQL.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
