Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the night shift logistics team, ensuring all targets and KPIs are met efficiently.
- Enforce strict safety protocols and OSHA compliance standards to maintain a zero-incident workplace environment.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with the day shift management to ensure seamless workflow transitions.
- Conduct regular shift briefings and performance reviews to mentor staff and address operational challenges proactively.
- Resolve operational bottlenecks and make real-time decisions to maintain optimal productivity levels.
- Maintain accurate records of shift activities, including attendance, productivity reports, and equipment maintenance logs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Previous supervisory or lead experience within a high-volume distribution center.
- Valid forklift certification and proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and direct a diverse team during night hours.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.
