Responsibilities
- Monitor & Maintain: Oversee the integrity of the network infrastructure 24/7 to ensure seamless connectivity and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, outages, and security vulnerabilities during the night shift.
- Deployment: Execute network patching, firmware updates, and configuration changes to enhance system security and performance.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate technical documentation regarding network architecture, configurations, and incident reports.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the day-shift team to hand off tickets and ensure continuity of service.
Qualifications
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent industry certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Availability: Must be willing and able to work night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Cisco, Juniper, or Palo Alto hardware, along with TCP/IP, VLANs, and VPNs.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
