Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs assessment and patient intake documentation during overnight shifts
- Assist physicians with examinations, procedures, and diagnostic testing
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Maintain accurate electronic health records with real-time updates
- Coordinate with overnight nursing staff for integrated patient care
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure sterile environments
- Handle patient inquiries and triage emergent situations
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- 1+ years of clinical experience in a fast-paced setting
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Exceptional communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Valid Wisconsin MA license
- Flexibility to cover rotating weekend shifts
