Responsibilities
- Monitor server performance, network traffic, and system health 24/7 to ensure maximum uptime and stability.
- Proactively troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for internal stakeholders via remote support tools.
- Perform scheduled maintenance tasks, including software updates, security patches, and data backups during the night cycle.
- Respond to critical alerts and escalations immediately, adhering to strict Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Maintain detailed documentation of all incidents, resolutions, and system configurations in our ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to hand over critical issues and ensure seamless continuity of operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in IT support, help desk, or systems administration.
- Proven track record of successfully working rotating night shifts or irregular schedules.
- Strong technical knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and common networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical staff.
- Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field is highly preferred.
