Responsibilities
- System Maintenance: Execute nightly system backups, patch management, and security audits to ensure data integrity and system stability.
- Ticket Resolution: Triage and resolve complex Level 3 technical support tickets, including hardware troubleshooting and software configuration.
- Network Monitoring: Proactively monitor network traffic and server performance using monitoring tools to prevent downtime.
- Incident Response: Respond to critical alerts and security breaches with urgency, following established incident response protocols.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in our ticketing system (ServiceNow/Jira).
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with the day-shift team to hand off unresolved issues and ensure seamless continuity.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred.
- Certifications: CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certification is highly desirable.
- Schedule: Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM).
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting protocols.
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
