Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues during night operations.
- Monitor server health, network traffic, and system performance to proactively resolve potential issues.
- Perform routine system backups, patch management, and security updates during off-peak hours.
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and maintenance tasks in the ticketing system (Jira/ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with the day-shift engineering team to ensure seamless operations and knowledge transfer.
- Respond to urgent escalation tickets with speed and accuracy to minimize downtime.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical operations.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS).
- Proven ability to work independently and maintain high productivity during night shifts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible night schedules, including weekends and holidays.
