Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and network performance to ensure 99.9% uptime during night operations.
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues via remote channels.
- Perform routine system backups, security patches, and software updates after business hours.
- Log, track, and manage IT service tickets (Jira/ServiceNow) with a focus on resolution speed.
- Conduct physical security audits of IT closets and server rooms.
- Collaborate with the Day Shift team to document issues and ensure seamless handover of critical tasks.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT Help Desk or System Administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Familiarity with remote support tools (TeamViewer, RDP) and ticketing systems.
- Must be available to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10 PM - 6 AM).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
