Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 technical support for enterprise systems during night shifts
- Monitor and maintain network security infrastructure including firewalls and intrusion detection systems
- Respond to and resolve critical IT incidents with minimal disruption
- Perform system backups, updates, and vulnerability assessments during off-peak hours
- Collaborate with global teams via ticketing systems and communication platforms
- Document all maintenance activities and incident resolutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of security protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years in IT support with night shift experience
- CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux systems
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills under pressure
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid UK driving license (for occasional on-site visits)
