Apex Data Systems is seeking a detail-oriented Night Shift Data Analyst to join our elite technical team. This is a unique opportunity to work during the quiet hours of the night, allowing for deep focus on complex data sets without the distractions of the day shift.
In this role, you will be the guardian of our data integrity, ensuring that our reporting infrastructure remains robust and our insights are accurate while the city sleeps. You will bridge the gap between technical data processing and strategic decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and analyze incoming data streams overnight to identify trends, anomalies, and potential security risks.
- Execute nightly data validation scripts and ensure the accuracy of the master database.
- Generate comprehensive reports for the day shift leadership team to facilitate morning strategy meetings.
- Collaborate with the software development team to optimize data pipelines for high-volume processing.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and data security protocols while handling sensitive information.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement within the night shift workflow.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in data analysis, SQL, or a related technical field.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and experience with data warehousing concepts (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift).
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision during the night hours.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work rotating night shifts (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred.
