Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment according to manufacturer specifications
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshooting on complex medical devices
- Train healthcare staff on proper equipment usage and safety protocols
- Document all maintenance activities and prepare detailed technical reports
- Collaborate with vendors to coordinate equipment upgrades and repairs
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and FDA regulations
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Biomedical Technology or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with medical equipment maintenance
- Certification in BMET or similar preferred
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to work flexible hours including on-call rotations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
