Responsibilities
- Install, calibrate, and maintain medical equipment across healthcare facilities
- Perform diagnostic testing and troubleshoot technical malfunctions
- Train healthcare staff on equipment operation and safety protocols
- Document maintenance activities and prepare compliance reports
- Collaborate with vendors for equipment upgrades and replacements
- Ensure adherence to FDA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Biomedical Technology or related field
- 2+ years experience with medical equipment repair
- Certification in BMET or equivalent (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Basic proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments
