Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vital signs, injections, and ECGs
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and patient examinations
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and medical documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and manage appointment scheduling
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Administer medications under provider supervision
- Provide culturally sensitive patient education
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in US healthcare setting
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Proficiency in EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Fluent English communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings
- Valid Maryland CMA license or ability to obtain immediately
- Background clearance and drug screening required
