Responsibilities
- Perform clinical duties including vital signs, injections, and EKGs
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during procedures
- Manage electronic health records and maintain accurate documentation
- Coordinate patient flow and ensure efficient clinic operations
- Administer medications and treatment protocols as prescribed
- Assist with lab specimen collection and basic lab tests
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multitask
- Ability to work flexible shifts including evenings/weekends
- Valid Maryland driver's license for occasional travel between sites
