Responsibilities
- Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms, equipment, and medical supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks including vital signs, EKGs, and phlebotomy
- Manage patient records and electronic health documentation
- Provide multilingual patient education and support services
- Coordinate scheduling and patient flow in the clinical setting
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Medical Assistant certification or equivalent healthcare experience
- Basic English proficiency (ESL support provided)
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural sensitivity
- Ability to work in fast-paced clinical environments
- Valid CPR certification
- Experience with EMR systems (training available)
- Background check and drug screening required
