Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and oversee the deployment of scalable, distributed machine learning infrastructure capable of processing petabytes of data.
- R&D Leadership: Lead the research and development of novel deep learning algorithms, specifically focusing on transformer models and reinforcement learning.
- Technical Strategy: Translate business objectives into robust technical roadmaps and guide engineering teams in execution.
- Model Optimization: Implement cutting-edge techniques to optimize model latency, accuracy, and resource efficiency.
- Team Mentorship: Mentor senior and junior engineers, conducting code reviews and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and investors.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of professional experience in software engineering and machine learning architecture.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), NLP, and computer vision architectures.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve ambiguous, complex problems with creative technical solutions.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams and managing technical projects.
