Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, coding, and testing of web-based applications using modern programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to best practices and coding standards.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and code review sessions to ensure project milestones are met.
- Debug and troubleshoot software issues to improve system stability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX designers and product managers, to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Contribute to the maintenance and optimization of existing legacy codebases.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with at least one major programming language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Java, or C#).
- Basic understanding of databases, SQL, and API concepts.
- Knowledge of version control systems, specifically Git.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
