Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person to all employees.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues including printers, laptops, and network connectivity.
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, peripherals, and software applications.
- Assist with the deployment of new devices and software updates across the office.
- Document all technical issues, resolutions, and procedures in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Maintain a clean and organized IT workspace and equipment inventory.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to implement system improvements and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree is not required.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Basic understanding of PC hardware components, operating systems (Windows 10/11), and troubleshooting principles.
- Familiarity with networking concepts (Wi-Fi, LAN) is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and complete on-the-job training.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Madison office.
