Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot & Repair: Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues for a diverse client base.
- Hardware Support: Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- System Management: Assist in the deployment of operating systems and applications; manage user accounts and permissions.
- Help Desk Support: Provide exceptional customer service via phone and ticketing systems, keeping users updated on issue resolution.
- Network Maintenance: Monitor local area networks (LAN) to ensure optimal performance and security.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and asset inventories.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent (Associate’s degree is a plus but not required).
- Experience: Previous experience in a help desk or technical support role is preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office Suite; basic knowledge of networking concepts.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with non-technical staff.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work occasional overtime or weekends during system updates.
