Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain secure IT infrastructure systems
- Provide 24/7 on-call support for critical infrastructure components
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize network performance
- Document system configurations and troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Implement cybersecurity best practices and compliance standards
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure) and hybrid environments
- Train junior IT staff on equipment usage and protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in IT infrastructure or systems administration
- Expertise in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V) and container technologies
- Strong knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Professional certifications (CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or AWS/Azure)
- Experience with monitoring tools (Nagios, SolarWinds)
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends for maintenance
