Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable AWS/GCP infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
- Lead migration projects for hybrid cloud environments with zero-downtime requirements
- Optimize cloud resource utilization to achieve 40% cost reduction targets
- Develop automation tools for infrastructure monitoring and incident response
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct peer code reviews
- Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ensure compliance with SOC 2, HIPAA, and GDPR standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering with hands-on AWS/GCP experience
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration
- Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Go, or Bash)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions)
- Relevant bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
