Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Machinery: Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment to move inventory efficiently.
- Inventory Management: Conduct accurate stock counts, cycle counts, and manage inventory levels to ensure accuracy.
- Freight Handling: Load and unload trucks and containers, ensuring proper securing of goods to prevent damage.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety guidelines and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies and document accordingly.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to meet daily production targets and operational goals.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance checks on warehouse equipment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs), and work in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Must have a reliable transportation method and a consistent attendance record.
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to focus on tasks and maintain accuracy in documentation and counting.
- Forklift Certification: Valid forklift certification is a plus.
