Responsibilities
- Supervise 15-20 warehouse staff daily, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols, including OSHA compliance
- Optimize inventory management systems to maintain 99.5% accuracy
- Coordinate with logistics team for seamless shipping/receiving operations
- Conduct performance reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Train new hires on warehouse procedures and equipment operation
- Generate daily/weekly performance reports for management
- Resolve operational issues promptly to maintain workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse/supervisory experience in logistics/distribution
- OSHA certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Forklift certification and heavy machinery experience
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Spanish language skills highly desirable for team coordination
