Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of citrus fruits (oranges, lemons, grapefruits) with precision and efficiency
- Operate farm equipment including tractors, pruning shears, and irrigation systems with proper training
- Monitor crop health and report pest/disease concerns to field supervisors
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce according to quality standards
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including equipment sanitation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Participate in seasonal planting and soil preparation activities
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (foreign national with valid work authorization)
- Previous agricultural/farm experience preferred but not required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions (heat, uneven terrain)
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions and teamwork
- Valid government-issued photo ID and passport
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
