Responsibilities
- Harvest high-value crops (berries, vegetables, nursery plants) using industry-standard techniques
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Apply pesticides and fertilizers following strict safety protocols
- Perform field maintenance including planting, pruning, and irrigation management
- Adhere to all OSHA and USDA safety and quality standards
- Document daily work activities and yield reports
- Collaborate with supervisors and fellow workers to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa eligibility or willingness to obtain sponsorship
- Minimum 2 years of commercial farming experience
- Ability to work 10-hour days in all weather conditions
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license (preferred for machinery operation)
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
- Proof of legal work authorization (if not H2A applicant)
