Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, cranes, and skid steers, to move materials and equipment efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation safety inspections and maintenance checks on provided equipment.
- Load and unload raw materials and finished products with precision and care.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and construction crews to coordinate logistics and project timelines.
- Document daily operations and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Current certification or valid license to operate heavy equipment (e.g., Class A CDL, forklift certification).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in heavy equipment operation.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
