Responsibilities
- Harvest Operations: Perform manual and mechanized harvesting of seasonal crops with precision and efficiency.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate tractors, combines, and other agricultural equipment under supervision.
- Field Maintenance: Assist in planting, weeding, pruning, and general field upkeep to ensure optimal crop health.
- Quality Control: Sort and pack harvested produce according to strict quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and on-site protocols at all times.
- Logistics Support: Load and unload trucks, maintaining accurate inventory records for daily harvests.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a diverse team to meet daily production targets.
Qualifications
- Visa Status: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or currently possess a valid work visa.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods in outdoor conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or landscaping is preferred but not required; we provide on-the-job training.
- Work Ethic: Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work long hours, including weekends and holidays during harvest season.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency for safety briefings and team coordination.
- Availability: Ability to commit to the full duration of the harvest season (typically 9-11 months).
