Job Overview
As an Agricultural Worker, you will play a vital role in our seasonal operations, ensuring high-quality produce for our community. This is a hands-on role requiring physical stamina and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Crop Cultivation: Perform manual and mechanized tasks for planting, cultivating, and harvesting fruits and vegetables according to established procedures.
- Maintenance: Remove weeds, dust, and other materials from fields using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Farm Equipment: Operate tractors, irrigation systems, and other farm machinery safely and efficiently.
- Packing & Sorting: Inspect, grade, sort, pack, and crate harvested products to ensure quality standards.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and farm regulations to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
- General Labor: Assist in general farm upkeep, including repairing fences and maintaining farm facilities.
Qualifications
- Visa Status: Must be eligible for or currently holding an H2A visa, or be willing to apply for sponsorship through our company.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or labor-intensive outdoor work is preferred but not always required.
- Physical Stamina: Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- English Proficiency: Basic English communication skills are required for safety instructions and team coordination.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic, punctuality, and ability to work as part of a team are essential.
- Legal Status: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
