Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting of apples using proper techniques to prevent damage
- Sort, pack, and grade fruit according to quality standards
- Operate orchard equipment (tractors, pruners, etc.) with proper training
- Maintain orchard hygiene and pest control protocols
- Assist with planting, pruning, and irrigation tasks during off-season
- Adhere to all USDA and OSHA safety regulations
- Participate in daily team briefings and quality checks
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of prior agricultural/harvesting experience
- Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid passport and eligibility for H2A visa sponsorship
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to work extended hours during peak harvest
- Valid driver's license preferred (equipment operation)
- No criminal history record required
