Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, strawberries, and avocados
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) with proper safety protocols
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures as directed
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities
- Adhere to all USDA and OSHA safety standards
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams during peak harvest seasons
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year documented farm/agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including early mornings and weekends
- Valid passport and H2A visa eligibility documentation
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
