Responsibilities
- Harvest Operations: Perform manual harvesting of fruits and vegetables according to quality and quantity standards.
- Crop Maintenance: Assist in weeding, thinning, pruning, and general field maintenance to ensure optimal crop growth.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate farm machinery and hand tools, including tractors, pickers, and irrigation systems.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for maturity and quality, sorting and packing produce efficiently.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team structure to meet daily production targets and deadlines.
Qualifications
- Legal Status: Must be eligible to work in the United States and willing to apply for or possess an H2A visa.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, walk on uneven terrain, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is highly preferred.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and holidays during the harvest season.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency required to understand instructions and safety briefings.
- Equipment Training: Willingness to undergo on-site training for specific farm equipment.
