Responsibilities
- Crop Management: Participate in planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops according to established agricultural standards.
- Machinery Operation: Safely operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Maintenance: Perform general farm maintenance tasks, including weeding, pruning, and soil preparation.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and on-site safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Quality Control: Inspect crops for quality and disease, reporting any issues to management immediately.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a diverse team to meet production deadlines efficiently.
Qualifications
- Legal Status: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or currently hold a valid H2A visa.
- Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual labor for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in agriculture, farming, or farm labor is preferred but not always required.
- Language: Basic English proficiency is required for communication and safety instructions.
- Availability: Must be available for full-time, seasonal work with the ability to work overtime during peak harvest seasons.
- Documentation: Must possess valid identification and work authorization documents.
