Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, cultivating, and harvesting seasonal crops according to established schedules.
- Operate and maintain various agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and hand tools.
- Monitor crop health and identify potential issues such as pests or disease to report to supervisors.
- Ensure field sanitation and proper waste disposal to maintain high hygiene standards.
- Assist in the packing, sorting, and grading of harvested produce for shipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and farm regulations to ensure a secure workplace.
- Work collaboratively with crew members to meet daily production targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must hold a valid H2A Visa or be eligible for sponsorship.
- Previous experience in farming, agriculture, or agricultural labor is highly preferred.
- Physically fit to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat and rain.
- Basic English comprehension and communication skills.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new techniques quickly.
