Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end H-2A visa program lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, and documentation compliance
- Coordinate with farmworkers, growers, and legal counsel to ensure adherence to DOL and USCIS regulations
- Monitor housing, transportation, and wage standards for H-2A workers across California farms
- Develop and maintain worker orientation materials and safety training programs
- Analyze workforce metrics and optimize recruitment strategies to meet seasonal demands
- Act as primary liaison between workers, employers, and government agencies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Agriculture, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 3 years experience with H-2A visa programs and DOL compliance
- Strong knowledge of federal labor laws (FLSA, Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act)
- Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and digital documentation tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote environment
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to farm sites (10-15% time)
