Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers) using industry-standard techniques
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Maintain crop health through monitoring, pest control, and fertilization
- Assist in greenhouse operations including seeding and transplanting
- Adhere to all safety protocols and food safety standards (GAP)
- Participate in general farm maintenance including fence repair and equipment cleaning
- Document daily work activities and crop progress
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility
- Minimum 6 months of prior farm or agriculture experience
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions including heat and humidity
- Basic English communication skills
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends during peak season
- Clean background check and drug-free
