Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain provided farm equipment (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tobacco, corn, soybeans)
- Perform manual labor tasks including weeding, pruning, and crop inspection
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and equipment operation guidelines
- Assist with irrigation system setup and maintenance
- Participate in team harvesting operations during peak seasons
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Previous farm experience preferred but not required
- Valid driver's license (equipment operation training provided)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Willingness to relocate for the seasonal period (March-November)
