Responsibilities
- Perform manual crop harvesting (tobacco, corn, soybeans) with precision and efficiency
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and report issues to farm supervisors
- Assist with planting, fertilizing, and pest control activities
- Maintain farm equipment and facilities in clean, working condition
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA standards
- Work collaboratively in diverse teams to meet production targets
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 1 year documented experience in agricultural labor
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work outdoors in all weather
- Basic English communication skills for safety instructions
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings/weekends
- No fear of heights or farm animals
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
