Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops including tomatoes, strawberries, and peppers
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and apply integrated pest management techniques
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution according to quality standards
- Maintain farm facilities, equipment, and safety protocols
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize harvesting schedules
- Document daily production and inventory data
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship (no prior sponsorship required)
- Minimum 6 months of commercial farming experience
- Ability to perform physical labor in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity, uneven terrain)
- Valid driver's license and equipment operation certification preferred
- Basic English communication skills for safety compliance
- Ability to work 10-12 hour shifts including weekends/holidays
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Willingness to relocate to provided on-farm housing
