Responsibilities
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate provided farm machinery and tools, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Crop Management: Assist in planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops according to strict agricultural standards.
- Quality Control: Sort and pack harvested products to ensure only the highest quality goods reach the market.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and work areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively within a team to meet daily production targets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Must be eligible for H2A visa sponsorship or hold a valid work permit.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform manual labor for long hours in varying weather conditions.
- Strength: Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Experience: Prior experience in agriculture, farming, or landscaping is highly preferred.
- Communication: Basic English proficiency is required for safety briefings and instructions.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and committed to the seasonal schedule.
