Job Overview:
As an Agriculture Worker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our farming operations. We value hard work, reliability, and teamwork. This is a full-time position located in the heart of San Jose, CA.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including planting, weeding, watering, and harvesting seasonal crops.
- Operate farm machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently according to safety protocols.
- Inspect crops for quality, pests, and diseases, reporting findings to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment to prevent accidents.
- Load and unload trucks and pallets with harvested produce.
- Assist in general farm maintenance and facility upkeep.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid H2A visa or be eligible for sponsorship (Priority given to H2A holders).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for safety instructions.
- Previous experience in agriculture or farm labor is preferred but not required.
