Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, strawberries, peppers)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters) safely and efficiently
- Apply pesticides/fertilizers following EPA guidelines
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for shipment
- Maintain field cleanliness and irrigation systems
- Adhere to all safety protocols and quality standards
- Complete daily production reports accurately
Qualifications
- H2A visa eligibility required (US employer sponsorship)
- Minimum 6 months agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work 10-hour shifts, including weekends
- Pass background check and pre-employment physical
- No prior farm safety violations
