Responsibilities
- Assist in the planting, cultivating, and harvesting of high-value crops in our urban agricultural facilities.
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery, including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Monitor crop health and implement sustainable farming techniques to ensure optimal yield.
- Perform quality control inspections to ensure produce meets strict industry standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and OSHA regulations on the farm site.
- Collaborate with the team to manage inventory and logistics for distribution.
- Participate in ongoing training regarding new agricultural technologies and organic practices.
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa sponsorship is required for this position.
- Previous experience in agricultural work, farming, or landscaping is preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50+ lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to operate farm equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and early mornings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
