Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, strawberries, peppers)
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and harvesters
- Maintain crop quality through sorting and inspection
- Adhere to safety protocols and pesticide handling guidelines
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance
- Participate in planting and field preparation activities
- Report equipment issues and crop conditions to supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa or eligibility for H2A program
- Minimum 6 months prior agricultural experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Availability for 40+ hours/week during peak season
- Basic English communication skills
- Willingness to work outdoors in Florida climate
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Pass background check and drug screening
