Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, melons) following quality standards
- Operate farm machinery including tractors and irrigation systems
- Maintain field hygiene and crop health through proper pruning/weeding
- Adhere to all OSHA and H2A program regulations
- Participate in daily safety briefings and team meetings
- Document work activities and inventory accurately
- Assist in post-harvest processing and packing operations
Qualifications
- Valid H2A Visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 6 months documented farm experience
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs and work 8-10 hour shifts
- Basic English communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to relocate to Virginia Beach for the season
- Clean background check and drug-free certification
