Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (lettuce, melons, cotton)
- Operate farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Perform manual labor including weeding, pruning, and sorting produce
- Monitor crop health and report irrigation/pest issues
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere to all safety protocols and EPA standards
- Work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
Qualifications
- Must be eligible for H2A visa program
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Agricultural experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to live in employer-provided housing
- Ability to work 45-60 hours weekly during peak seasons
