Responsibilities
- Harvest Operations: Perform manual labor tasks including picking, packing, sorting, and loading harvested crops efficiently and safely.
- Machinery Operation: Operate tractors, sprayers, and other agricultural machinery safely following all standard operating procedures.
- Crop Maintenance: Assist in planting, weeding, irrigation, and general field maintenance to ensure optimal crop health.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety guidelines, company policies, and H2A regulations to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Quality Control: Inspect produce for quality and grade standards, ensuring only the best products reach the market.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with team leads and fellow workers to maximize productivity and workflow efficiency.
Qualifications
- Eligibility: Valid H2A visa or legal authorization to work in the United States (US Citizen, Green Card, or H2A Visa holders).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50+ pounds for extended periods in outdoor weather conditions.
- Experience: Previous experience in farming, harvesting, or general labor is preferred but not always required.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license is required for transportation to field sites.
- Reliability: Strong work ethic, punctuality, and the ability to follow instructions precisely.
