Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (tomatoes, peppers, squash) using precision farming techniques
- Operate and maintain agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Monitor crop health and pest levels, reporting issues to farm supervisors
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and environmental sustainability standards
- Assist with post-harvest processing including sorting, packing, and quality control
- Participate in team training sessions for new farming technologies and methods
- Maintain accurate fieldwork logs and production records
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility or willingness to obtain through our program
- Minimum 1 year of commercial agriculture experience with crop cultivation
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions (heat, humidity)
- Basic English communication skills for team collaboration and safety training
- Valid driver's license preferred for equipment operation
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends during peak seasons
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Commitment to 6-8 month seasonal contract (March-October)
