Responsibilities
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest diverse crops including citrus, berries, and vegetables
- Operate and maintain farm machinery (tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems)
- Monitor crop health and apply pest control measures as directed
- Perform field maintenance tasks including weeding, pruning, and soil preparation
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and quality standards
- Assist in packing and processing harvested produce
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities and yields
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa status or eligibility for sponsorship
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on farming experience
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Physical stamina for 8-10 hour shifts including bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and repetitive tasks
- Basic understanding of English communication
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work weekends and overtime during peak seasons
- Reliable transportation to farm location
