Responsibilities
- Harvest and pack seasonal crops (strawberries, leafy greens, citrus) according to quality standards
- Operate farm equipment (tractors, harvesters) with on-the-job training
- Maintain field hygiene and sanitation protocols
- Follow supervisor instructions for planting, irrigation, and pest control
- Perform general farm maintenance including fencing and equipment upkeep
- Adhere to all safety regulations and OSHA standards
- Work efficiently in team-based harvesting operations
Qualifications
- No prior agriculture experience required - comprehensive training provided
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor conditions
- Legally authorized to work in the US or eligible for H2A visa sponsorship
- Basic English communication skills (Spanish speakers welcome)
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Reliable transportation to worksite
- Willingness to work flexible hours including early mornings and weekends
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly throughout shifts
