Responsibilities
- Operate farm machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems
- Plant, cultivate, and harvest seasonal crops (vegetables, grains, fruits)
- Maintain farm infrastructure and equipment with routine inspections
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides safely according to EPA guidelines
- Sort, pack, and prepare produce for distribution
- Adhere to all OSHA and USDA safety protocols
- Assist with crop rotation and soil management practices
Qualifications
- Valid H2A visa sponsorship eligibility required
- Minimum 1 year commercial agriculture experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic English communication skills (written/spoken)
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- USDA pesticide handler certification a plus
